REALITY RIDES

Reality Rides are a series of volunteer rides where local cyclists will be able to assess existing and proposed bike routes. During these rides routes will be evaluated for safety, difficulty, accessibility and connectivity. Road hazards will be documented and mapped and the resulting evaluations presented to relevant City and County agencies.

Reality Ride evaluations will also be used to help inform Richmond's 1st Bicycle Pedestrian Plan currently in process as a result of the hard hard of the Richmond Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

Although the rides themselves serve a purpose, increased safety and road access for bicyclists, we are also just wanting to get out and ride together while envisioning and co-creating a different, more sustainable future for Richmond...and beyond.
